How to get a grade in Svenska som andraspråk 2

I was looking into some university courses, which is a longer story for another time, and decided to take the test for SAS2 (Svenska som andraspråk 2) as a first step of fulfilling the prerequisites.

For everyone who's a resident of a Swedish municipality (kommun) and older than 20, there's an opportunity to get or improve the school grades in any course for free. This is called KomVux. The great thing about it is that it's flexible, can be done in the evenings, remotely, and so on. The not so great thing is that every kommun does it slightly differently and it can be hard to figure out what to do, when, and how. But the kommun's website should be the starting point.
